BIO

Maggie is an actress and writer. She spent the first 22 years of her life as a football player and now dreams of landing a role in season 4 of Ted Lasso.

Maggie can be seen in the upcoming Ryan Murphy television series The Beauty on FX/Hulu this November. Past works include Oscar Winning film Judas and the Black Messiah starring Daniel Kaluuya, Native Son, and The Other Side of Darkness.

She is currently working on adapting a beloved book into a limited series and co-directing her first feature-length documentary. Her art is deeply influenced by the silent film era, particularly the transgressive performances of Louise Brooks and Marlene Dietrich. Her Letterboxd Four are Pandora’s Box, Worst Person in the World, She’s The Man, and Before Sunrise.

When she's not acting or writing, you'll find her singing, surfing the Rockaways, or dreaming of one day learning the saxophone.
