Maggie is an actress and writer. She spent the first 22 years of her life as a footballer and now dreams of landing a role on season 4 (or 5) of Ted Lasso.

Her work spans the Oscar-winning Judas and the Black Messiah, A24’s Native Son, and Ryan Murphy’s upcoming series The Beauty. 

She is currently working on adapting a beloved book into a limited series and co-directing her first feature-length documentary. Her art is deeply influenced by the subversive spirit of the silent film era, magnetic and alluring and dangerous, with Louise Brooks’ razor sharp wit as her north star. Her Letterboxd Four are Pandora’s Box, Worst Person in the World, She’s The Man, and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

When she's not acting or writing, you'll find her singing, surfing the Rockaways, or dreaming of one day learning the saxophone.
