Maggie Rose is an actress and writer living in NYC.

As a soccer player for the first 22 years of her life, Maggie’s dream acting role would be a soccer player in. a soccer movie. There’s nothing more unique, strange, and beautiful about the camaraderie and closeness of women’s sport team. It would be her honor to represent that on screen.

Her work spans the Oscar-winning Judas and the Black Messiah, A24’s Native Son, and Ryan Murphy’s satirical body horror series The Beauty. 

She is currently working on adapting a beloved book into a limited series and co-directing her first feature-length documentary. Her art is deeply influenced by the subversive spirit of the silent film era, magnetic, alluring and dangerous, with Louise Brooks’ razor sharp wit as her north star. Her Letterboxd Four are Pandora’s Box, Worst Person in the World, She’s The Man, and Before Sunrise.

When she's not acting or writing, you'll find her singing, skiing in Montana, fingerpicking her guitar, or dreaming of one day learning the saxophone.
